Who
are the Slab to Abs fitness experts...
The
Slab
to Abs experts are Clayton Beatty and Travis Sawyer who have a combined 15 years
experience in the fitness industry helping men lose their unwanted belly
fat.
Travis
Sawyer (aka "Travis the Trainer") is a Personal Trainer
and men's fitness expert in Perth, Western Australia.
He
is also a qualified Strength & Conditioning Coach with the
Australian Strength and Conditioning Association.
Travis
runs his own successful fitness bootcamp business helping people lose
fat, get fit and toned, and maintain a healthy lifestyle, as well as
personal training a few select private clients.
He
has previously worked with major companies such as BHP, Rio Tinto,
Downer Engineering and Burswood Intercontinental Resort as a health and
fitness consultant.
Clayton
Beatty (aka "Coach Clayton") is also a Personal Trainer in
Perth, and has a passion for helping working class men get fit and enjoy
a healthy lifestyle.
He
studied at the University of Western Australia where he completed a
Bachelor of Science (Human Movement)
and a Bachelor of Commerce. He is also a
member of the Australian Association for Exercise and Sports
Science. Clayton
runs his own successful online fitness
consulting business and works as a personal trainer. He
has previously worked with major companies such as BHP, Rio Tinto and
the WA Local Government as a health and fitness consultant.
The
Slab to Abs Story...
While
working as fitness consultants in the mining industry, Clayton and
Travis discovered (not surprisingly) that the overwhelming problem
amongst the working class males, was excess abdominal fat.
This was leading to all sorts of health issues such as
high blood pressure, type II diabetes, metabolic syndrome,
cardiovascular disease and increased risk of some cancers.
Not
only this, but the excess abdominal fat was causing the men to have less
energy, be less productive and make them feel more stressed. And
they were at a higher risk of having an accident in the workplace.
In
an effort to curb this abdominal fat epidemic, Clayton & Travis came
up with the Slab to Abs Challenge, to help the men lose their belly fat
fast with healthy eating guidelines
and fast effective workouts
using
minimal equipment in minimal time.
A
challenge was just what the guys needed. They knew they
only had to commit to the challenge for 12 weeks and the
response was overwhelming, with lots of men joining the challenge to lose their gut using such an idiot-proof system.
The
results of the men who took the challenge spoke for themselves, and a
little over 12 months since the first Slab to Abs Challenge took place
in the mines, we are
taking the Challenge to men everywhere!
